Trazodone is an antidepressant medication. It works by changing the actions of chemicals in the brain. Trazodone is used to relieve the symptoms of depression for example the feelings of sadness, worthlessness, guilt, thoughts of death or suicide, and the loss of interest in daily activities. Trazodone also manages the changes in appetite, tiredness, sleeping too much and also insomnia.
